Rarity Collection 5Stamps and overframes everywhere
With the launch of Rarity Collection 5 booster box, the fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! from all over the world are experiencing a wave of nostalgia. This instalment in the series Rarity Collection, published by Konami in April 2026, consists of 150 individual cards. Once again, we encounter beloved and powerful characters who have already made their mark on the game. However, this time, the enormous number of reprints isn't the only exciting thing. The set's focus is on its visual appeal, as we see the introduction of cards with Extended Art in the TCG, making the game's roots in anime and manga shine even brighter. Rarity Collection 5 Sold in packs of five cards each and boxes of 24 packs each.
The card list for this set is split into two sections: a main set of 82 cards, and an alternate art set of 68 cards. Each pack contains four cards from the main set. Rarity levels range from Super Rares to Prismatic Ultimate and Collector’s Rares, which remain exclusive to the product line. Rarity Collection. The fifth card is guaranteed to be one from the second set, the alternate art set. With the abundance of novel designs from the set, the options seem endless. Many of the new variants feature «stamped» artwork with short, catchy Japanese or English exclamations printed over the frame. Some fun examples can be found in the new Dimension Shifter announcing «BYE» and Crossout Designator saying «NO».
A completely new aspect
However, the spotlight is entirely stolen by a completely new card style: for the first time, Konami is introducing Extended Art or «Overframe» cards to the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. Rarity Collection 5 includes ten reprints with illustrations that extend across the entire card instead of the small frame they are normally limited to. This results in a more dynamic and colourful appearance, turning each card into a real visual magnet. Among the first ten cards to receive this treatment, all of them popular and competitive, are powerful monsters such as Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon, Firewall Dragon Singularity y Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon.
We also get a quick-play spell and an Extend-Magic trap card Super Polymerisation y Lord Purge, respectively. All alternate art cards appear in both Ultra and Starlight rarity. Among them, the Extended Art cards are the rarest and most coveted.
As you can see, Rarity Collection 5 offers Western collectors a unique opportunity: to be among the first to get their hands on beloved, classic Yu-Gi-Oh! cards with a completely refreshed look!
Each pack contains 5 cards:
4 cards from the main pool available at:
Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Secret Rare, Ultimate Rare, Collector's Rare, Platinum Secret and Starlight Rare.
1 Variant Art Card from an independent pool, exclusive to this collection.
Variant Art Cards feature unique illustrations with new backgrounds, visual effects, zooms and messaging-style phrases in English and Japanese.
